Masterclass Systemic Rituals – Daan van Kampenhout (online)

Programme – Masterclass Systemic Rituals

When we are dealing with a problem, we experience this as a personal situation. Setbacks in our private life are often seen as individual challenges. While this is true from one perspective, we can also recognize that all human beings go through similar kinds of processes. We all loose loved ones, we all feel betrayed by a friend who is no longer loyal, we all feel like a failure when we haven’t met the expectations of others.

In this seminar we will learn how to look at personal difficulties from an archetypical or collective human perspective. When we can shift a client’s case from the personal to the collective level, there are some immediate effects. For the client, the situation feels less like an individual shortcoming or failure because they can see how the experience they are going through has been experienced by many others throughout time. For the participants in the training, the individual case is no longer separate from themselves because they can identify with it much easier.

When the group participates in a Systemic Ritual, the work is no longer focussed on one single client: all who participate in it are equal because they found common ground. What started as an individual story becomes a gift for all the people present to gain insight, find new resources and take stapes towards balance and wholeness.
