About Evelyne

Evelyne Debeuckelaer is the beating heart behind noomly – leading beyond. She is an organisational, team and leadership coach, using the systemic lens as a foundation.

How my career took shape

What drives me is my passion for the connection between organisational culture and structure and how leadership unmistakably shapes this. Allowing organisations to be authentic and close to themselves is a permanent quest and an ever-recurring balancing act.

What does an organisation show in its ‘undercurrent’ (culture, values, informal interactions,…)?

Is this consistent with where the ‘upstream’ (structure, strategy, etc.) wants to go?

What leadership is needed for this?

HR

The first part of my career (+20y) I was active in roles as HR Director, Group HR Project Manager, HR Business Partner and this within various environments (from head office to plant) and structures (multinational and SME).

Coach

The second part of my career flowed naturally into a role as an independent coach, consultant and trainer. The interest in systemic work grew, and has since become one of my main working methods.

Systemic coaching: a great discovery I came home to

The first person who introduced me to constellations was Philippe Bailleur, when he was a trainer overseeing a leadership programme within an organisation where I was HR Director. It was the starting point of what would become a deepening new path for me. From the fascination of what I had seen emerge in that programme, I started devouring numerous books on systemic work. A family constellation guided by Ria Verlinden followed and other steps soon followed.

In 2019, I enrolled in the course on systemic work, ancient wisdom and rituals called: ‘Weaving Wisdom’. Through Ria, my feet found their way to South Africa where I followed the ‘Facilitator of Constellations’ course with Tanja Meyburgh for 2 years. At the same time, I received a more European touch through the training ‘Systemic Working’ from Phoenix Institute.

This has allowed me to develop a unique style today in which I deepen systemic work with ancient wisdom, with the power of rituals, and with the ancestral field.

How others characterise me

  • Grounded presence, with a no-nonsense attitude and confronting from softness and respect.
  • Seeing / reading / feeling what an organisation or team needs and suggesting ways to get started (‘insight bringer’).
  • Seeing clarity and structure in chaos through sharp insights (‘overview bringer’).
  • Holding space so that what wants to be shown can be shown (‘tranquillity bringer’).
  • Activating the natural flow in an organisation in a simple and creative way.
  • Fluent trilingual (NL, FR, EN).

Fancy an introduction?

What the cooperation looks like in very practical terms always depends on your question and the context of your business. We discuss this in detail at the start of the cooperation and evaluate it in between.

Co-creation

No question is identical to another, and at the same time, the same issues often come my way. Each time in a different context; and it is precisely the context that is decisive. I take you with me to walk the process together, using your ingredients to develop the recipe together, each time following your rhythm. Answering an issue is like building a bridge while walking on it together.
